How I work

Therapy for life transitions

Divorce, loss, a career ending, becoming a parent.

When life shifts under you

Some changes arrive without warning, and some you choose. Either way, they can leave you unsteady for a while. A relationship ends. A parent needs looking after. A job changes, or stops. You become a parent, or your children leave home.

Even a change you wanted can ask more of you than you expected, and there is often nowhere to say that out loud.

What therapy can offer here

Room to sort out what you are actually feeling, without having to manage anyone else’s reaction to it at the same time.

Space to notice what matters to you now, which is frequently not what mattered before. And company while you work out who you are on the other side of it.
