How I work
Therapy for stress and burnout
Running on empty long enough that empty feels normal.
Burnout isn’t just tiredness
Tiredness improves with a weekend. Burnout doesn’t. It tends to come with a kind of distance: from the work, from the people, sometimes from yourself. Things that used to matter become things to get through.
It also tends to come with guilt, because plenty of people have it harder, and you are still functioning.
What we might look at
What your days are actually made of, and which parts of them are quietly taking the most. Where the line between caring about your work and being consumed by it went, and whether you want it back in the same place.
And what genuinely restores you, as opposed to what is supposed to. Those are often not the same thing, and it is worth finding out which is which.
